PPF Saved Me Thousands in Repair Costs... and I Don't Think My Father in Law Ever Found Out.

Before my wife and I were married, I was house sitting for her parents while they were out of the country. While carrying a heavy metal basket through the garage, it slipped from my hands and landed squarely on the hood of my father in law's jet black Porsche 911. My heart sank. The gouge looked deep, and because it was right in the middle of the hood, I was convinced I'd just caused thousands of dollars in damage.

Fortunately, someone experienced with paint protection film recognized that the hood was protected by PPF. The gouge was entirely in the film, not the factory paint. They replaced the damaged PPF, and the hood looked exactly as it had before the accident.

What I thought would become a costly repair turned into a simple PPF replacement, preserving the original paint and saving me thousands of dollars. A special thank you to Tanner for helping me navigate the situation and turning what I thought was a disaster into a complete non event.

That experience made me a believer in PPF. It doesn't just protect your paint... it protects your investment, your time, and sometimes even your peace of mind.

Most people think of window tint as making a room darker — and that's one option. But the real value is heat and UV control. A high-quality ceramic film can block a significant amount of solar heat and nearly all UV rays while staying virtually invisible. Your room stays bright, your AC works less, and your furniture stops fading.

Virtually Clear Ceramic Film 70–90% VLT

Almost invisible. Rejects a significant amount of heat and UV rays with very little effect on room brightness. The best choice if you love natural light but want to reduce heat.

Lightly Tinted Film 50–70% VLT

Slightly dims the room — similar to wearing light sunglasses. Noticeably reduces heat while keeping the space bright and open.

Darker Privacy Film 35% VLT and below

Noticeably reduces glare and brightness. Often used where privacy is the priority — street-facing windows, bedrooms, or ground-floor rooms.

For South-Facing Windows

A high-quality ceramic film is usually the best call. It can:

  • Block up to 99% of UV rays — protecting furniture and flooring from fading
  • Reject a large percentage of infrared heat before it enters the room
  • Cut glare without noticeably darkening the space
  • Still let in plenty of natural daylight with a high VLT film
